Wash the apricots and remove their seeds. Mix the apricots and granulated sugar in a saucepan, cover and leave for at least 8-10 hours. Add water to the pot and boil for about 1 hour. After turning it off, strain it by crushing it thoroughly with the back of a spoon in a wire strainer. Serve the prepared syrup chilled in the refrigerator.
