Who is Melik Gazi: Due to the success of the conquest of Kayseri, he was given the title of ""Malik"" by the Caliphate authority. Melik Gazi conquered Kayseri in 1086 and received the title of Conqueror of Kayseri, and this conquest and title were confirmed by the Sultan's edict registered in the Shar-i Court Registry dated 13 Muharrem 1636. Melik Gazi or Emir Gazi (d. 1134) is one of the sons of Danishmend Gazi, the second ruler and founder of Danishmends. He is also known as Emir Gümüştekin Gazi, Melik Gümüştekin Gazi and Melik Mehmet Gazi. He had a great share in the Turkification of Anatolia. Danişmendli Meliki, who reigned near Zamantı castle, ensured the security of Kayseri, Konya, Çankırı, Kastamonu, Antalya and Urfa provinces. There is no inscription of the tomb. Melik Gazi Tomb is a brick structure consisting of a cubic body rising on a low stone pedestal and a pyramidal cone resting on a high pulley above it. It is one of the few tombs in Anatolia where brick material is used entirely. There is a mummy that is said to be of Melik Gazi in the funeral, the ground of which is soil."
