The building, which is claimed to have been built in the 4th century during the Roman period, constitutes the lower floor of a 12th century Seljuk tomb whose upper floor was destroyed. The tomb was unearthed and restored in 1956. There are tombstones belonging to the years 1317-1318 in the building. The tomb was built of black cut stone, with a rectangular plan and a single vault.
