"Location: It is in Kayseri Province, Kocasinan District, Sahabiye Neighborhood, in the square opposite the Castle (outside the walls). Current Status: The cells of the madrasah are used as shops. Date: According to the inscription on the crown gate, it was built in H. 666 / H. 1276. Plan and Architectural Features: The building, extending in the north-south direction, consisted of a rectangular madrasa with an open courtyard with a portico, three iwans, a mosque and a fountain opposite it, and a social complex. The mosque was demolished, and the fountain was placed on the right of the madrasa, since the place where it is located is the road. The south façade constitutes the front façade of the madrasah. In the middle of the façade, there is a rectangular portal that protrudes forward and exceeds the height of the façade. Two lion-shaped gargoyles at the top animate the façade. Decoration: The south façade, where the entrance of the building is located, has a very meticulously processed crown door. On the crown door, geometric (zigzags, muqarnas, geometric crosses, basket weave, goometric interlaced decorations developed from twelve-pointed stars, hobnails, zencerek), herbal, (palmette, curled branch, rumiler, acanthus), geometric and herbal ornaments are combined and the text It is used as an ornamental element. Material and Technique: The building is made of cut stone material. Inscription: There is a two-line inscription in relief on the rectangular inscription made of white marble, located on the crown gate of the madrasa. In the inscription; “In the time of Kılıç Arslanoğlu, the supreme Sultan, the Sultan of Sultans, the protector of religion and the world, the conqueror of the conquest, Keyhüsrev (III Keyhüsrev), who hoped for Allah's mercy in the months of 666 (1276), -Allah made his property permanent- It is written that Sahib Ali, son of Hussein, ordered him to end well."
